The Mahdah Oasis is one of the prominent spots in Al Buraimi, where Mahdah Oasis Falaj is characterized as one of the ancient Dawoodi Falaj, stretching 4,700 meters with seven branches. The project to revitalize and develop the oasis began as a social and cooperative initiative by the residents of the wilayat, aiming to restore its distinguishable green features. Thus, the project was carried out in five stages, starting in mid-2017, with contributions from various entities
The village of Misah in the Wilayat Mahdah, located in Al Buraimi Governorate, is characterized by its location among the mountains, which provides it with a mild climate along the year. It constitutes a rich agricultural environment due to the abundance of water and fertile soil. The village is known for cultivating various seasonal crops, such as lemons and mangoes. It also has two Falajs (irrigation channels), one with fresh water and the other with sulfuric water, as well as the Misah Dam, which was constructed in 2011 with a capacity of 300,000 cubic meters as part of the dam system in the Wilayat Mahdah.
Bayt Al Nad Fort is one of the most significant forts in the Wilayat Mahdah in Oman, recognized as the biggest and oldest of the Wilayat's forts. It is believed to date back before the 18th century and is characterized by its unique geometric design. The fort served as a residence for sheikhs and military personnel and also contains a prison.
