This morning, the inauguration of Al-Fai Health Center took place in Al-Rawdah, Wilayat Mahdha, Al Buraimi Governorate, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Saeed bin Harib Al-Lamki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Saif bin Nasser Al-Kalbani, Director General of the Ahd Foundation, as well as a number of Walis, members of the Shura Council, Municipal Council members, officials, sheikhs, dignitaries, and citizens. The center features modern facilities designed according to approved health standards, including medical clinics, vaccination rooms, nursing sections, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and dedicated spaces for maternal and child health. It also includes halls for health education and awareness. The center provides a range of essential health services such as general medicine, women’s and children’s health, community health, extended immunization, treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases, early detection of breast cancer, and health promotion programs. In his speech on the occasion, Dr. Hilal bin Saud Al-Hatmi, Deputy Wali of Mahdha in Al-Rawdah, emphasized that the opening of the center reflects the commitment of the concerned authorities to enhancing the quality of health services and ensuring easier access to preventive and curative care for residents. He added that the project stands as a result of constructive cooperation between government institutions and civil society, foremost among them the Ahd Foundation, which continues to contribute to community and humanitarian initiatives, particularly in the health sector. Dr. Majid bin Rashid Al-Maqbali, Director General of Health Services in Al Buraimi Governorate, also delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the project for the residents of Al-Rawdah. He reviewed the health dimensions of the center and its future role in improving the quality of services provided to the community, meeting their needs, and ensuring an integrated healthcare environment. He noted that the center represents a qualitative addition that strengthens primary healthcare services in the area. As a token of appreciation, the residents of Al-Fai village presented a symbolic gift to Her Highness, in recognition of her gracious humanitarian gesture and kind directives to establish the center. The gift was received by Dr. Saif bin Nasser Al-Kalbani, Director General of the Ahd Foundation. The inauguration concluded with a tour of the health center’s facilities, where attendees were briefed on the services provided. The event was widely praised, with the center recognized as a valuable addition to the healthcare sector in Al-Rawdah.
