Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, the Municipal Council of Al Buraimi Governorate organized a ceremony at the Knowledge Hall of the University of Buraimi to honor the trainees of the “Irada” Initiative. The event was attended by dignitaries, officials, and council members, and aimed at supporting job-seeking youth, enhancing their skills, and empowering them to confidently enter the labor market. In her speech during the ceremony, Ms. Maryam bint Rashid Al-Yazidiyah, Municipal Council member and supervisor of the initiative, explained that the Irada Initiative was launched in June 2024 and targeted more than 150 male and female trainees in administrative, technical, vocational, and entrepreneurship fields. She stressed: “Seeing the trainees develop themselves and prepare for their professional futures fills us with great pride, and confirms that true willpower can make a real difference.” She added that the skills and experiences acquired by the participants will serve as a strong foundation for their professional journeys toward a promising future filled with opportunities. The trainees affirmed that their experience in the initiative was enriching and inspiring, as it boosted their confidence, equipped them with essential skills and knowledge to face job market challenges, and gave them the chance to engage positively and work in a spirit of teamwork. The ceremony concluded with the honoring of supporting entities and the trainees themselves, amid praise from attendees for the efforts of the Municipal Council and the initiative’s organizers. The event underscored that youth empowerment is the cornerstone for building a brighter future.
