This morning, Al Buraimi Governorate witnessed the signing of six community support agreements between several service entities in the governorate and Eshraqa for Social Development, the community development arm of the Khimji Ramdas Group. The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, and attended by Their Excellencies members of the Shura Council, the walis, sheikhs, and dignitaries, in addition to members of the Board of Directors of the Khimji Ramdas Group and heads of public service sectors in the governorate. The agreements covered several sectors, including one with the Directorate General of Education to provide interactive screens for all schools and innovation centers, and to equip multi-purpose halls. Another agreement was signed with the health sector to enhance the eye clinic at Al Buraimi Hospital with a number of specialized medical devices. The agreements also included initiatives with the Ministry of Social Development to equip a sensory room for children with special needs at the Al Wafa Center, and to support Omani Women’s Associations in the governorate with equipment and devices, as well as to provide devices for charitable teams. Additionally, an agreement was signed with the Department of Culture and Sports to support the Al Buraimi Sports Complex with modern equipment and devices. His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, affirmed that the partnership between the public, private, and community sectors constitutes a fundamental pillar for the development of the governorate. He praised the vital role played by Eshraqa in supporting service and development projects that directly benefit various segments of society. For his part, Mr. Nilesh Khimji, Member of the Board of Directors of the Khimji Ramdas Group, stated that the signing of these agreements comes within the framework of the company’s commitment to supporting community initiatives that contribute to the development of Oman’s governorates and to enhancing the quality of services in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
