Al Buraimi Governorate celebrated the World Customer Experience Day through an event held at the Knowledge Hall of the University of Buraimi, under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, and in the presence of His Excellency the Wali of Al Buraimi, directors general, the Deputy Chairman of the Municipal Council, representatives from public and private institutions, as well as the participation of persons with disabilities and members of the local community. The event began with a visual presentation titled “The Customer Journey: Between Expectations and Reality”, which portrayed the real-life experiences of customers across various government entities while receiving services. The presentation highlighted the efforts made by institutions to enhance service quality and improve customer satisfaction. The celebration also included the presentation of several success stories in customer experience, featuring examples from the Office of the Governor of Al Buraimi, the Directorate of Small and Medium Enterprises Development, and Nama Water Services in Al Buraimi Governorate. These experiences showcased innovative practices in improving service quality and ensuring the sustainability of customer satisfaction. The program further included a panel discussion titled “The Customer at the Heart of Our Institutions”, with the participation of directors general from various sectors in Al Buraimi, representing agriculture and water resources, housing and urban planning, health services, and consumer protection. The session involved an engaging dialogue and discussion with members of the community and was moderated by the official spokesperson of Al Buraimi Governorate. The event concluded with a ceremony honoring several government entities in recognition of their efforts to enhance the customer experience. In her remarks, Ms. Shaima bint Abdul Rasheed Al Balushi, the event supervisor, explained tha the organization of this event reaffirms the importance of fostering a culture of customer-centricity within the government work environment. She emphasized that celebrating the World Customer Experience Day reflects the commitment of service institutions to strengthening engagement with the community and promoting the values of quality and innovation in service delivery. Meanwhile, Dr. Saeed bin Salem Al Yaqoubi, Director of the Customer Service Department at the Office of the Governor of Al Buraimi, noted that the celebration aims to highlight the ongoing efforts to improve the customer journey and showcase the success stories achieved within the governorate. He added that the integration and collaboration among government institutions have contributed to enhancing service quality, simplifying procedures, and strengthening public satisfaction and trust in the services provided.
