The “Winter Buraimi – Winter with Us” Festival kicked off yesterday evening at Al Buraimi Public Park in Wilayat Al Buraimi and will continue until Saturday, January 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event is organized by Al Buraimi Governorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Al Buraimi Branch.The opening day witnessed a distinctive festive atmosphere, as the skies of Al Buraimi were lit up with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the launch of the events and creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration, affirming the importance of the festival in enhancing tourism and entertainment activity and attracting visitors from within the governorate and beyond.The festival features a diverse range of entertainment and artistic activities that cater to all members of the family. The events include musical concerts and daily theatrical performances such as “The Candy Man,” bubble shows, light shows, the Electric Professor show, clown performances, acrobatics, unicycle performances, and magic shows, in addition to family activities, enjoyable experiences, food areas, and the presence of celebrities and distinguished guests.Artist Sultan Al Raisi will perform a concert on Friday, January 16, 2026, while artist Abdullah Al Miyasi will perform another concert on Friday, January 23, 2026, along with the participation of the energetic Badr Al Sarih band, which adds a vibrant and exciting atmosphere to the events.Salem bin Namshan Al Kaabi, Director of the Events and Awareness Department at Al Buraimi Governorate, stated that the Winter Buraimi Festival aims to provide a comprehensive winter experience for families, combining entertainment, arts, and culture, while creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. He added that the “Winter Buraimi – Winter with Us” Festival is an opportunity for entertainment and for enhancing cultural and artistic activity in the governorate, as it provides a platform for community engagement and showcasing talents.
