The sixth edition of the Furas Exhibition 2026 in Al Buraimi Governorate was launched today at the University of Al Buraimi under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi. The exhibition is organized by Al Buraimi Governorate, the University of Al Buraimi, and the Labour Department in the governorate, with the participation of more than 30 public and private sector entities.
The exhibition is being organized as part of the governorate’s efforts to enhance employment opportunities and professional qualification through the provision of more than 100 job opportunities and over 290 training opportunities, while opening broader prospects for job seekers. It also aims to strengthen the readiness of national talents and empower them to enter the labour market across its various sectors.Dr. Saeed Eid Younis, President of the University of Al Buraimi, affirmed that the exhibition reflects the importance of partnership between educational institutions and various entities in supporting employment, empowering youth, and preparing national competencies in line with labour market needs and development requirements.The opening programme featured an introductory visual presentation highlighting the exhibition’s objectives and themes, followed by a tour by the patron of the event through the exhibition booths, where His Excellency reviewed the opportunities, training programmes, qualitative initiatives, and career guidance services provided by participating entities for youth and job seekers.Over the course of three days, the exhibition will also host a diverse programme of workshops and specialized sessions focusing on labour market readiness, skills development, entrepreneurship, future jobs, and personal and professional skills, with the aim of enhancing the preparedness of job seekers.
