As part of its ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation and foster a culture of innovation among young learners, Al Buraimi Governorate, represented by the Digital Transformation Ambassadors and in cooperation with the Al Buraimi Science and Innovation Centre, organized a series of training workshops aimed at developing students’ digital skills and entrepreneurship. The workshops were held on 7 and 8 July 2026 at the Al Buraimi Science and Innovation Centre. These workshops come as part of the governorate’s specialized programmes to support digital capacity building and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to keep pace with technological developments. They also aim to strengthen creativity and innovation in line with digital transformation goals and Oman Vision 2040, by preparing a generation capable of engaging with modern technologies and applying them across various fields. The workshops target students from grades 5 to 12 and cover a variety of topics, including an introduction to e-services, entrepreneurship and marketing, “Create Your Story” for children, safe and responsible use of technology, and a mini digital transformation hackathon. The sessions are delivered through interactive training methods that combine theoretical learning with practical application. Through this initiative, the governorate aims to develop students’ ability to use digital technologies safely and effectively, enhance their spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation, and refine their creative thinking and problem-solving skills, contributing to the development of national talent capable of meeting future requirements and benefiting from the opportunities offered by the digital economy.
